OK, I got 2 requests just today for good snack ideas.
And I think I put together a pretty darn good list for you, if I do say so myself.
In fact, I jotted down a few ideas while I was having a snack myself. My sister visited me this weekend from CT and was kind enough to bring me some cucumbers fresh from her garden.
So, I sliced up a half of one of those and sprinkled some sea salt on them for a little pisaz! That way I can forgo the dip.
Now, if you’re truly focused on weight loss then I think you’ll agree I came up with some great snack ideas.
However, if you just think you are focused on weight loss but really want some exciting, cheesy, crunchy, soggy, chocolaty snack then, I hate to tell ya, you’re not gonna lose much and you’re gonna be disappointed in my list.
So, without further ado, here are 13 great snack ideas for weight loss:
1. Jerky – home-made of from health food store.
2. Nuts and seeds – no added oils
3. Non fat, plain greek yogurt ——————————————————–>
5. Frozen grapes
7. Hummus with veggies
8. Salsa with veggies
9. Hard boiled egg
10. String cheese
13. Prograde Cravers – 3 great flavors! ———————————————–>

Now remember, it isn’t so much about what you eat as it is about how much of it you eat.
So keep portions under control and limit yourself to approximately 100 calories per snack, 2 snacks per day max.
Also, when it comes to burning fat and weight loss, it is better to be boring. Why?
Because boring foods are generally the healthiest – you know, the ones with the least number of ingredients in them?
Do that, and you will reach your fat burning goals in no time!
