I stumbled across a really cool way to give your body healthy food anytime, anywhere.
YouBar is a company that provides fresh, handmade, customizable nutrition bars. The founder of the company wanted to make a product that was healthy and free from preservatives and corn syrup. He also wanted the product to meet the diverse nutritional needs and tastes of all of us fickle folks.
If you are looking to lose fat or enhance your energy with a snack containing high quality protein and low glycemic carbs then YouBar is for you.
Creating your YouBar is easy:
1. Visit www.youbars.com
2. Choose from a list of available ingredients
3. Name your bar! It shows right up on the outside of the wrapper!
My personal YouBar creation contains the following ingredients: cashew butter, organic dates, organic agave nectar, pecans, organic figs, whey protein isolate, organic flaxseeds, organic cocao nibs, and greens infusion (spirulina).
This bar is 45g and has the following nutritional facts: calories 191, fat cal 87, total fat 10g, saturated fat 2g, sodium 12mg, total carbs 21g, fiber 3g, sugars 16g, protein 7g.
I found this particular bar to taste great! I love the little crunch of the cocao nibs and I am super addicted to cashew butter right now. The consistency of the bar is perfect for my taste, it satisfies my snack cravings and also gives me plenty of energy to get through a tough workout.
YouBar also offers customizable shakes and trail mix.
Check them out at www.youbars.com and if you like what you see use my discount code “SCF” to receive 5% off your order.
