Hey there, Susan here.
I hope you are having a great day! Below is a guest post from someone you know very well – your body fat. He is here to talk to you about your fat loss efforts during the up coming holiday season.
When you finish the post let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.
Dear Friend,
I am so happy!
The holiday season is quickly approaching and it all kicks off with my favorite holiday, Halloween!
Why is Halloween my favorite holiday? Because you are going to completely sabotage your fat loss efforts and feed me lots and lots of candy!
Oh, and meanwhile, it is starting to get dark and cold out and you are going to start being super lazy!
Why is this good news for me? Because you will be creating the best environment for me to grow and expand!
The combination of you consuming more sugar from chocolate and candy and getting more lazy will most definitely give me the ammo I need to take over your body! HA!
I am super excited too because Halloween is really just the tip of the ice berg. By the time we hit Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, I will have totally taken over your body and you will be looking and feeling like a totally different person!
So please, please, please make sure you eat a ton of candy this Halloween season and make sure that when you get home from work you are as lazy and as sedentary as possible.
Have a great spooky season!
Signed,
Your Body Fat

Word….Peanut Butter cups are my favorite. I hate the scammers who give toothbrushes! Wow Sue, what a wake-up call to prepare for the upcoming “easy outs” for good eating and fitness. Thanks for making me aware early…I’ll get a jump start. I’ll be so good that I won’t feel any guilt the wine and cheese on New Years!
Thanks for the motivation.
Ummm…
Dear Body Fat
I hate you!!!!

Very creative Sue! Thanks for the great reminder!
Hey Sue!
Thanks for the reminder to not cave to the peanut butter cups! I haven’t even purchased halloween candy yet for fear of wiping out a bag before the holiday gets here. My husband is already talking too about all the “comfort food” he needs to make now that it’s getting cold. YIKES!
Thanks for the great comments! I too find this time of year challenging but I thought this year we would go on the defensive for the holidays and not have to worry about undoing all the damage on Jan 1st that we had done in the prior 3 months.
Stay Strong!
My thighs on Halloween are nothing compared to my butt on Christmas! BUT….this year will be different. Lighter treats, mindful eating and holiday flavored protein packed treats! Right? Oh please say I’m right…my thighs are begging.
Right you are, Protein Girl! I think we would all LOVE to have some ideas for holiday flavored protein packed treats!
