Amy, motivation is really something that comes from within. If you don't have the motivation to do something, do you really want it that badly?

Rachel, thanks for the message, happy to help any way I can.

I know you (and Zig) are right. My goal is to decrease body fat - lots of it. Hard to say just how many pounds really. Another part of my goal is to gain strength to avoid injuries and become a triathlete that can compete, not just finish. I don't want people to say "wow" when I pass them in a race...it's not a good wow, believe me, I've heard it. It's more like a "wow, there's a fat chick!" And, of course, I want to have a sexy appearance and feel confident about myself; thus projecting confidence to others. Now if I can successfully follow that path to a better me!...I've tried by myself in the past, and either made it, only to turn around and go back from whence I came. Or I've slid off the path and crashed before reaching my goal for one reason or another, leaving me discouraged. I think the piece of the puzzle that is/was missing was surrounding myself with the right people. That is where you come in :)

Ok first his name... Zig Ziglar. LOVE IT! Second he has some great ideas and advice. It all makes sense. I have heard these ideas before and know/accept they work. How do you find the motivation to start and then keep going?
