Hey there, I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know about a few cool health/fitness/nutrition articles I came across last week.
They are awesome enough and/or important enough for me to want you to see for yourself.
And so starts my weekly blog post with “link love“. Enjoy!
In Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger., they talk numbers – and compare fruits, veggies, grains, and sugar for protein and fiber content. Another interesting view which tosses grains aside and promotes veggies as the supreme food group.
Feel like a little chocolate? In Mark’s Daily Apple, Mark Sisson tells you about 5 different dark chocolate candy bars approved for consumption on a primal diet. Ranked on flavor and low sugar content, these 5 choices allow for both portion control and a small waistline.
In The Huffington Post, John Robbins discusses how Coca-Cola is being sued by a public interest group claiming that they are making unwarranted health claims for their Vitamin Water line. Coke’s response to the lawsuit? They didn’t actually think we would be stupid enough to think that Vitamin Water was good for you. For the actual quote, check out the article.
And the guys over at Fitness Spotlight report that eating more meals does NOT speed up your metabolism. But, it may still work if fat loss is your goal. Check that out for a mega does of reality.
I also went and dug through some of my old blog posts to bring you this little gem: Strategic Exercise and Diet Synergy For Xtreme Fat Loss. Ah, good times…..
Enjoy the links to these blogs and learn something too, would ya?
