Best Exercises to Reduce Cellulite – Exercising For Cellulite Removal
If fast, natural cellulite reduction is what you want, then the best exercises to get rid of cellulite are what you need. What are the best exercises for cellulite removal, you ask? Just look below to find out.
The Best Anti-Cellulite Exercises…
Note from Susan: all of these activites can be done as part of your home workouts routine!
- Swimming. It’s an all-body workout that will stimulate both blood flow and circulation, not to mention build some lean muscle mass too.
- Running/Jogging. Another great cardio workout that has tremendous beneficial effects. Aside from the benefits to blood flow & circulation, this anti-cellulite exercise also helps to (gradually) make the body healthier as a whole.
- Walking. Not as potent an exercise as running or jogging, but it’s a good way to get started without wearing yourself out too early on. Start here and then move onto something more powerful when you’re ready.
- Weight Training. Great for targeting and sculpting areas of the body which are plagued by cellulite build-up. Light weight training (more reps & less weight) will help to build lean muscle as opposed to “body-builder arms”.
- Cardio or Aerobic Exercise. Basically ANY & ALL exercises that get the blood pumping and the blood flowing.
QUICK NOTE: You may have noticed that nearly all of these best exercises to reduce cellulite help to improve both blood flow and circulation. Why is that important? Because cellulite thrives in areas which are stagnant and inactive; places where blood flow and circulation are quite poor.
How Often Must I Do The Exercises?
Routinely for a quite number of weeks. Figure 4-5 days a week for at least 3 to 5 weeks before seeing improvements.
How Fast Will Results Appear?
Everyone is different and that goes for the exercises we choose to use as well. Having said that, you can’t expect to mark a date on the calendar and then see results by that time — it doesn’t work that way. Give it 1-2 months for results to show before “thinking” of throwing in the towel.
Should I Use Any Other Anti Cellulite Treatments?
You don’t have to, but it is highly recommended for you to use other treatments in addition to these best exercises to reduce cellulite. Suitable secondary treatments include anti-cellulite diets & cellulite treatment cream.

Hi Susan
I have always walked every day and hopefully this will keep the cellulite at bay! My elderly mother also walks daily and very briskly and she looks fabulous. We have such lovely weather here that it’s not like when I was living and working in the UK and had to really wrap up against the cold, wind and rain. Still didn’t put me off but it is easier to go out in the sunshine rather than in the rain. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Patricia, thanks for the comment. I am jealous of you being able to walk all year round in great weather. I live in upstate NY and although it is awesome most of the year, going out in the middle of winter for the sake of a walk really isn’t all that fun. We try to find winter activities to embrace such as snowshoeing. I also bought a snowmobile last winter because Scott had one – it isn’t exactly exercise but a workout nonetheless! Thanks again for the comment!
