Hey Happy Friday! It’s time again for me to share with you all the awesome content you should be reading this week.
Healthy Recipes
Let’s start off with the good stuff!
Over on Truth2BeingFit.com, Jodi gives us an awesome recipe for protein pumpkin cookies. This recipe is so healthy and looks so delicious I may give them a shot this weekend! This recipe uses a protein powder. If you want a good one with no artificial sweeteners and other crap in it then you have to check out Prograde Protein. It comes in 3 awesome flavors too.
Lori over at FindingRadience.com gives us a great recipe she calls Almond Joy Oats. It isn’t a dessert but don’t tell your tongue that!
And on Home Workouts I give you a healthy chocolate fudge recipe to die for!
News
Harvard researchers now claim that the obesity epidemic will reach a whopping 42% before it plateaus. Lovely! What are you going to do about it?
Do you really need to eat breakfast? Does the answer change if you are trying to lose weight? Training for an endurance event? Or if you’re a man, woman, or child? Ben Greenfield dishes.
Brad Pilon, one of my favorite nutrition specialists, talks about the body fat trap and how you can get out of it. This was by far the most moving and profound blog post I read this week. If you read nothing else, you have to read this.
Home Workouts
Mark over at MarksDailyApple.com is keepin’ it primal and gives us a fun and easy at home workout called the cave bear workout. It’s super quick and a must do!
Of course I have to add my Easy At Home Workouts program here ’cause, well, it’s my blog and I wanted to. But for good reason. It’s a simple, done-for-you program that you can use right at home with little or no equipment. Do me a favor and check it out.
And finally, a few posts from the week that I thought you’d be crazy to miss.
