I’m back today to document day 1 on my new journey of Joel Marion’s new 25 day rapid fat loss program, Xtreme Fat loss Diet.
Each day is a different type of diet coupled with a strategic workout that will best optimize that diet for maximum fat loss.
The Xtreme Fat Loss Diet begins day 1 with a cheat day! And, man, today was a great day!
I have been so restrictive for so long in my diet (with an occasional reward meal) that I almost had a tough time with enjoying all my favorite indulgences throughout the entire day.
But, I got over that in a hurry!
But before I even started with the diet and workouts, I took a few minutes to prepare myself to commit to the program.
I printed out all the manuals and other parts of the program and took the time to read through and really understand them.
I also took the time to weight myself and take a few measurements and record them in the Success Journal that comes with the program.

Regarding my diet on cheat day #1, here’s what I ate:
Smoothie: banana, spinach, raspberries, unsweetened chocolate almond milk, almond butter (I didn’t decide to start the diet today until about 10 am so I went about my normal breakfast).
2 large slices of cheese pizza – my favorite!
Real turkey sandwich on bread with cranberry mayo, bacon, lettuce and tomato
Homemade chocolate pudding with real whipped cream
**I can’t believe how little of the “cheat” foods I could actually eat. The pizza filled me up and I was actually a little full at dinner. Would have loved to have been able to eat a little more than I did today!
As for the workout that works synergistically with the cheat day, I did a density workout.
A density workout is based on increasing the amount of “work” you do in a given time frame, either by increasing the amount of time you exercise or by increasing the amount of work you do in a given time.
So, this density workout consisted of 3 fast paced circuits consisting of 2-4 exercises each.
And it gave me a great challenge! I really wish I could tell you all the exercises I did today, but I don’t think Joel would appreciate it!
I absolutely LOVE the Workout Logs that are included with the Xtreme fat Loss Diet. All I do is print out the workout for the day, go into my living room (you know I workout at home!) and just record right on the log what I do. Nice and easy!
Overall, today was a decent day! I got to eat whatever I wanted today and had a great and challenging workout.
I will let you know how I feel about this during my next update!
