I hope you are loving this beautiful spring weather!
Personally, I can’t get enough of it. I have been spending every second I can steal away from my busy schedule to get outside and walk (breaking in my new Vibram FiveFingers), do my workouts, or even do my spring yard work.
I’ve even been filming my latest videos outside!
It’s renewing my spirit after being in a long winter slumber.
And I am so grateful for that, among other things. More on that in a minute….
But what I would really like to know is what you are grateful for – your friends, your family, your job, your health?
But what else? Think hard, dig deep.
And then leave your answer in the comments section at the end of this blog post.
I will pick the comment I feel was the most honest, heartfelt, and non-superficial and I will reward you with a FREE copy of Ultimate Home Workouts.
Then you’ll be burnin’ up your fat like crazy! And you’ll be even more grateful!
Oh, what am I grateful for?
I’m grateful for the opportunity to positively effect so many peoples’ lives by educating them and providing them with the tools to improve their health and fitness. I had a death in my family late last summer and it was during the next few days that I decided that life was too short to waste and that I must spend as much time as I could in service to other people.
So, that’s what I’m doing, and that’s what I’m grateful for – you.
Thank you to all of you who read my blogs, communicate with me through facebook and twitter, and let me come along on your journey to a better, more fit, and healthier life.
Your Friend and Coach,
Susan Campbell, MS, CSCS
P.S. All you have to do is leave a comment right below this blog post telling me what you are grateful for and you will have a chance to win a FREE copy of Ultimate Home Workouts!

i am grateful for life, losing weight and being healthy, being able to run 5 miles when only 4 months ago not being able able to run 1, but having determination to do more, to make myself fitter and healthier for the sake of my chidren and to set an example to them.
Hey Lou! Great job with the running! 5 miles is great! Have you done any local races? Determination/motivation is key when it comes to successfully reaching our goals. But it can also be the most difficult part. Keep up the great work and let me know how I can help!
I’m grateful for my health. It’s one of those “you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone…” things in life.
So true, and a huge reason why everyone should start looking at their lifestyle and seeing what improvements can be made. I believe that if we just do something – anything – each day that will move us closer to our goals we can be wildly successful!
I am grateful for the health of my Husband children and Family. I also have had several deaths in my family in the past 2 years and I wonder how lifestyle contributed to some of them. The people are gone too soon, and we can never get them back. I am committing myself to living every moment to the fullest, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle so I can stick around for the others in my life. At the same time I am researching my family tree, and not many seem to live to be 50. Is this genetic or lifestyle?? I can only controll my lifestyle so I feel another push from the past to be healthy!
Ann, I would guess that lifestyle contributed to most of them. People just don’t realize what they are doing to themselves when they eat those french fries, drink their soda and then sit and watch tv all night. Your new commitment to your health is extremely admirable – your kids are going to have their Mom around for a long time and that is what we all deserve. Let me know how I can help!
I am grateful for my health. Good health gives me the opportunity to do all the things I love. Summer is approaching and I can’t wait to take my kids to the beach, ride waves and play in the sand. Good health allows me to enjoy these things….and pass the good spirit on to others.
Health is a wonderful thing to be grateful for, Deb! Most people aren’t grateful for it “until it’s gone”, as Protein Girl reminded us. Summer is a big activity time for me too, can’t wait for hiking and camping this season! Let me know if I can do anything for you to help keep you healthy!
I am grateful for my Soupie! And her kick booty approach to fitness.
Awwww, I am grateful for B Bo…..thank you!
I am grateful for all of the people who have been, are, or will be in my life. I have many positive people surrounding me on a daily basis. Family, friends, neighbors, acquaintances…all have in some way helped shape me as a person and continue to do so as I evolve through the many stages of life one goes through. I get wonderful energy, support, encouragement and love from them all. I get to learn new things everyday. Especially from my three children who daily help me to see things from three entirely new and different perspectives. I am so very thankful for my life.
Wow MA, you are a lucky girl! You are surrounded by incredible people…..I can that having a strong social support circle. Whatever goal you have you can call on any or all of them to help you on your journey! Thanks for the message!
I am grateful for so many things that I hardly know where to start: a beautiful spring (even with the high pollen count), my job, my friends and family, the good-morning “kissie” from my furbaby, and for every day that I wake — what a tremendous gift that is! I’m grateful that I finally got myself healthier and happier. Life itself is such a blessing!
Anette, life itself is something very few people remember to be thankful for, we often take it for granted. Great job losing weight and improving your health, you, and everyone in your life, are better off for it! Let me know how I can help!
